Qalat: A man named Mumtaz in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan first shaved wife,
Nazia’s head and then cut off her ears, and nose and damaged her teeth on the first day of Eid ul Adha, an Islamic ritual of sacrifice. Hospital sources in Qalat, center of Zabul, told this scribe by phone that Nazia, 17, was admitted on Wednesday (first day of Eid) evening and now she was in a critical condition due to the severe beating she has borne. Provincial Police Chief of Zabul, Gen. Mohammad Yaqub Khan, when contacted, confirmed this brutal incident and confessed that the police were still unable to arrest the man. ‘The police are searching for him, he has disappeared’ Khan added. Moreover, he said that a brother of the culprit was a police officer who is currently under investigation. According to a resident of the area, the husband and wife recently moved to Zabul from eastern Paktiya province for unknown reasons. The abused woman Nazia, lying on her hospital bed and uncertain about her future, said that her husband, twice her age, had suspicions about her behavior. She added "I swore to him many times that I was faithful to him but he did not believe. He used to beat me. A few days before Eid, he shaved my head and beat me severely. On the first day of the Eid, he cut my ears, then my nose, then damaged my teeth and beat me until my hands and legs were broken." I was second wife of Mumtaz. The first wife was already killed by him," she added with a flow of tears from her eyes. A report of BBCPashto adds that many women in Zabul province has protested on Saturday against this brutal act and demanded the immediate arrest of the beast. "We condemn this and we declare it the worst violation against the women," said a protester. Fauzia Younasi, the provincial director of the women department has visited the hospital and shown her concerns over the matter. She ordered the doctors to do their best to save her life. "She has suffered so much, she is beaten severly, her ears and nose were cut off, her teeth are totally damaged so she cant speak," she told media. Residents of the area said that Nazia was married to this man one year ago. The war-torn country is being lead on a slow pace to democracy and political stability but violations against human rights, especially in the southern and eastern provinces, are still common. "Legal reforms designed to protect women are not implemented and women continue to be detained for breaching social mores. There was a rise in cases of “honor” killings of women and self-immolation by women" says Amnesty International 2007 Report on Afghanistan. "In the name of the most merciful, the most compassionate" Never have i heard of a lesser man than one that could beat a woman not to mention mutilate.I was reminded by someone the other day who happens to believe all people deserve freedom,with which i agree to a point,however what this person and too many like him believe is that people like this should be able to even have the freedom to do this type of thing as long as they do it in thier own countries.It's thier culture and thier religion.Well i doubt very much that this young girl, who doesn't even look old enough to be married much less to a "man" twice her age,feels as these people sitting all safe and sound in thier free country that actually have laws and punishment for this behavior. I too was reminded that we here in the U.S. have rapist,murderers,pedophiles and thieves.The difference is that we punish these crimes and that's what they are is crimes.We do not throw these creeps parades nor think of them as pious believers following a Gods laws.These acts are not culture and they are not religion they are heinous crimes carried out upon another free and living,thinking and breathing human being. This "man" has gotten away with killing his first wife and i think it will be safe to say this "man" will get away with this as well.She was guilty of a suspicion,the devil whispers into the ears of these people and someone bleeds or dies,nothing new just another day and another holiday of the religion of peace.Yes all people do deserve freedom,they deserve freedom from this garabage and those who distribute it.In my opinion any that do not fight against this no matter where it ocuurs has aided in this act and all those before it and the ones to come.Make no mistake there will more,even in our own land of the free because some,too many,people think others should have this freedom.How does that old saying go? I originaly discovered this article at The Global Incident Map Bomb-making factory found in Brooklyn apartment of Columbia professor Police stumbled upon a bomb-making factory Sunday in the home of a Columbia professor who specializes in the spread of infectious disease - and are investigating whether he and his roommate have terror ties. Cops evacuated the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood around the Remsen St. home of Michael Clatts, a medical anthropologist, after finding seven pipe bombs fitted with fuses in his flat, police sources said. The frightening cache was discovered almost by accident - Ivaylo Ivanov, the man living with Clatts, accidentally shot off the tip of his left index finger and sought police help in the street about 1:15 a.m. When investigators went to the 37-year-old Ivanov's apartment, they found the bombs, already capped on both ends and filled with powder. One of the pipe bombs was inserted into a Nerf football, cops said. A 9-mm. handgun, two ammunition magazines, a 12-gauge shotgun, silencers, a bulletproof vest, a crossbow and bomb-making equipment, including a drill and threading machine that could be used to make pipe bombs, were also recovered, cops said. Investigators with the NYPD-FBI were questioning Ivanov, a native of Bulgaria, to determine whether he had any terrorism or Russian Mafia connections, a source told the Daily News. "Russian Mafia aren't fazed by getting a fingertip shot off - and they certainly don't go to the cops for help," the source said. Neither man so far has popped up on any foreign criminal watch list or is a known member of an organized crime ring, sources said. Sunday night, police were seeking additional search warrants, possibly for computers, other electronic devices and papers and books. Ivanov was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful wearing of a body vest and reporting a false incident, cops said. He was expected to be arraigned this morning. Police were also looking to question Clatts, 50, the Columbia University instructor living with Ivanov, a source told The News. Alan Brasunas, a co-op board member at the 58 Remsen St. brownstone, confirmed Clatts owned the apartment and lived there with Ivanov. "One has to assume Michael must have seen something at one point," Brasunas said. "It's not a huge apartment." He said he interviewed Clatts before he was allowed to buy the fourth-floor unit. In Karachi, police chief Azhar Farouqi said officers detained five men who were in the possession of explosives, detonators and a small quantity of cyanide intended for attacks on this week's Ashoura processions. "With these arrests we have foiled major attacks," Farouqi said. The intelligence official said the 15-year-old told investigators that the five-person squad was dispatched to Rawalpindi, where Bhutto was killed, by Baitullah Mehsud, a militant leader with strong ties to al-Qaida and an alliance with the Taliban in nearby Afghanistan, on Afghanistan's northwest border. The senior official from Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said the teen was arrested Thursday and was involved in a plot to attack Shiites during an Ashoura festival on Sunday. We the following feel shocked and appauled that such a commodity as Paltalk is being used by certain elements and parties to harvest hate against ethenic minorities, in particualar against the Islamic faith. To us this is racist and unacceptable and a sickness that should not be tolerated for long. Racial terminoligy and profanity have been used in G-rated rooms by certain parties who shall rename nameless unless their nomenclature is required. A suffering to which children have been subjected and their young minds wrongly manipulated to feel hate towards certain elements. We feel it is your responsibility to put an end to this.

I love it when truly moderate muslims.....er excuse me i mean EX muslims speak out against Islam.It's like a nice steamy cup of coffee on a bitter cold morning.I can picture those peaceful muslims who love to smear themselves in thier victims blood twitching at every word penned by these who know the truth,who lived it watched it, ate, slept and drank it.The convulsions caused by such words of truth ebs the blood flow from thier brains and all that is left is the first day they heard about Allah and his dear prophet,the devil starts to whisper into thier ear and there can be no other thought and no other action than that of insanity. I totally agree with all these statements. And I've always brought to memory, when I see Western populations losing site of the deadliest enemy in their entire history, the great flood and how only Noah and his family were saved. The rest were celebrating, despite being alerted all the previous years as they watched Noah building the ark. I also wonder if it wouldn’t be sarcastic to wish a happy new year to the Christians in the south of Sudan and the people of Darfur that are only hoping to survive their own holocaust at the hands of devout Mohammad followers. Or if it’s appropriate and if we really believe that our wishes of happiness have a chance to be fulfilled for all the Christians living under the worst persecution, as hostages to be massacred at will in every Islamic country; the same Islamic countries that pushed and voted for a United Nations resolution (we’ll talk about it in a separate article) combating defamation of “religions”. From the part of the world I come from, namely the Middle-East that's been swept by the flood of Islam, we use more realistic greeting formulas like “kol sana wenta tayeb” which means “may you live every year” or “kol sana wenta bekheir” which means “may you be well every year”. As you can see, the most people from that part of the world, which has been plagued by Islam since 14 centuries, ask for are greetings for survival. For able Christians, wishes for happiness implies getting out of reach of Islam. Migrating to the West for their safety, and to save their children from the daily persecution and psychological torture and tears at the hands of their Muslim school teachers and classmates who incidentally take such a delight calling them (guess what?) … “sons and daughters of apes and pigs”. And to allow them a future with equal opportunities based on their abilities and not their religion. Last but not least, be free from Muslims’ bondage that stole their native countries and robbed them of everything. Which they willingly sacrificed, even at the cost of their honor and lives, to keep their Christian faith. As for the majority of Muslims, now that they've realized that the looting of Jews (that were expelled) and Christians (the natives) didn’t save them from misery, their hope is also to flee the misery of the dar el Islam (house of Islam) to dar el kofr (house of the infidels). Once they succeed in getting to the West, legally or most often illegally, and being treated with compassion and given equal rights, then the hidden Islamic venom comes to the surface, ready to sting. And instead of enjoying their adoptive country for a better and peaceful life like everybody else, they boast of their supposed Islamic superiority. That same superiority brainwash that ruined the countries from where they came and caused them to flee in the 1st place. The New Year is here and most of the Arab countries are going through various dilemmas. These range from a decrease in standards of living, the deterioration of the economic and social situations, the flare-up of conflicts between political and religious elites, all the way to the depletion of efforts and money on issues that no longer top the priorities of modern world countries. Between the conflicts of the Arab regimes among each other and the struggles of the Arab forces and movements inside a single Arab world, and the confrontations between government systems and the political opposition forces, the Arab world is delving into a war of dilemmas. These will not make the year 2008 any different. On the contrary, most people's only hope is that the situation remains the way it is now since the Arabs' situations in the past decades point out that today is better than tomorrow, that tomorrow is better than the day after, and that the present year is much better than next year. In the last ten years, Saudi Arabia spent close to a hundred billion dollars to spread Islam. If all that oil money was injected in the Arab world economies instead of to Allah’s cause, all Arab countries would have been turned into heavenly paradises. But, being infected with the sickening desire of covering the earth with the Islamic label , and the promises of benefits in the cause of Allah, left these countries in total shambles. Instead, there are Islamic countries of misery, sufferings, murder, rape, chaos… desperate young generations and perfect candidates for the Islamic world terrorists association. Allah’s ‘True Islam’ has nothing to do with the welfare and the quality of life of its followers unless they’re active for Daa’waa (missionary work) or jihadists. This is the way Mohammad founded Islam, based on profit sharing for the goods and women. All Muslims know how the booty is divided from Mohamed’s blue print (the Koran and Hadith), the conquest and subjugation of prosperous non Muslims comes first, then the looting, the jeziah and the abduction of women comes next. The world is relatively small today, and what happens in one part of the world cannot be in isolation, but affects other parts too. This lesson has sunk in, in varying degrees for a time, only. How serious we are today, will determine the outcome of the next threat posed on us. The 31st of December for us the Copts, as well as for all Middle-Eastern Christians and Christians living in bondage in all Islamic dominated countries became the day of recapitulation. Of our dead and wounded, our kidnapped Christian girls and forced conversions to Islam, our burned churches and destroyed Christian businesses and homes and many things that it would be too long to mention now... He is Imam of the town’s fundamentalist religious school or madrassa, where classes for kids as young as nine include Jihad or Holy War and barbaric punishments. ( Ah the preperations for the "By force" part.) His teachings are frightening enough. But his mosque lies in the shadow of the secret bunker where Pakistan produces nuclear weapons. ( Really? This post was my wishing i had been involved with this conversation. I also might add that this conversation took place just about two years ago.Do you see any difference in that time than now? A friend came across this on a photo sharing site and passed it along thinking that i may like to blog about it.She was correct. For many years now i have rambled on about muslims standing up and fighting to reclaim their "Hijacked Religion",or really the lack there of. Unfortunately when they have stood up in the case of terrorist acts committed in the name of their religion it has been only to defend their religion. Any attempts at condemning these acts of terrorism against innocent people ( my definition of innocent,not Islams.),and they are few and far between,ring hollow.They ring hollow because in the next breath they turn into the victim.It is they,muslims,who are being attacked.Every place in the world where there is conflict there are muslims demanding,taking by force,raping,plundering and pillaging.Their plight is that they are oppressed,not allowed to fully practice their religion.Not all people know that their definition of oppressed is not the same as ours here in the west.Their definition is that they are not allowed to rule,to be the empire,the superpower.All the world is not bowing to allah,so they are oppressed from their "rightful place" of world wide dominance.The U.S. may defend itself with military might and i suppose that makes us a superpower,but i think it is many other things that make us a superpower.Things Islam couldn't lower themselves to do to become what we have earned and became. Nowhere else do here of any other people who constantly burn and riot over being insulted,and there is no way not to insult Islam.Even muslims themselves who live under the shadow and in the darkness that is Islam cannot escape insulting Islam.Farther down in the discussion part of this post i believe you will see proof of that. Thursday, December 27, 2007; 8:35 AM RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, Dec. 27 — Former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto was reportedly killed Thursday at a political rally, two months after she returned from eight years of exile, officials here said. Bhutto was apparently shot at close range as she was leaving the rally in this garrison city south of Islamabad. Immediately after the shooting, a suicide bomber detonated explosives near her car, killing at least 15 other people. Bhutto was rushed to a hospital with extensive wounds to her torso, her supporters said. Shortly after she arrived at the hospital, officials came out of the building and told her supporters that Bhutto was dead. Also Thursday, a rooftop sniper opened fire on supporters of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at a different pre-election rally in Rawalpindi, leaving four dead and at least five injured. But the banking industry has a short memory. In 1955, Citibank established the Saudi American Bank in Jeddah and added a Riyadh branch in 1966. But on February 12, 1980, Saudi Arabia confiscated Citibank's business by royal decree, changed its name to Samba, and forced America's premier bank to accept a subservient role, staffing its old bank—with a promise not to take any profits. Yet, Shari’a is “the path of Allah,” Nizam Yaquby told October conference-goers--although the purportedly “ethical” and “socially responsible” investing supports neither environmentalism nor “renewable” growth. A 20th century construct, without basis in Islamic history, it often funds destruction. This “invented tradition” empowers Islamic radicals, writes USC King Faisal Professor of Islamic Thought, Timur Kuran, in Islam and Mammon: “Neither classical nor medieval Islamic civilization featured banks in the modern sense, let alone ‘Islamic’ banks...” Consider its downside risks. With 19.99% of Nasdaq in hand, Bourse Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX) parent—certified for “Islamic ‘purity’” by Bahrain’s Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAIOFI)—now plans to “rebrand” America’s international over-the-counter market as Nasdaq-DIFX. What does this mean for presumably “unIslamic” Nasdaq companies (like Israeli generic drug giant, Teva)? Supposedly, Bourse Dubai will be “restricted to 5 percent voting rights” in Nasdaq. But in anticipation of Nasdaq-DIFX’s “rebranding,” DIFX named four new board members. Boards of directors generally call the shots. Meanwhile, Citgroup is receiving a second-generation, $7.5 billion Islamic-cash-bailout from the ultra-conservative United Arab Emirates (UAE) sheikdom, Abu Dhabi. Its initial, 1991 Islamic-rescue followed billions in bad loans, single-quarter losses of $855 million, and U.S. Federal Reserve Board concerns about Citibank’s potential failure. Suddenly, Citi’s then-Middle East business chief, Shaukat Aziz—fresh from seven years in Riyadh running Citi's confiscated bank, and hobnobbing with Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal—convinced the latter to trade $600 million for shareholder-rights, Bangladesh’s Depardes reported in June 2004. 1 He now has 3.6%. Aziz later headed Citicorp Islamic Bank, and maybe initiated Citi’s supposedly prospering Shari’a finance business. But who controls whom? Today, doubling as Pakistan’s Finance and Prime Ministers, Aziz supports “Shariah compliant banking,” which the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in 2005 strategically planned to promote “as a parallel system.” He’s discussed its potential with Bahraini Bank Alsalam CEO, Yousif Taqi. Likewise, bin Talal wants to dominate U.S. businesses. Rather than boycott, “Arabs...stand more to benefit from maintaining trade ties with the US because the trade balance … is in our favor,” he told Saudi Arabia’s Arab News daily on May 1, 2002. Both men’s ideas fit the 1928 cloth of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, whose disciples tailor-made it into shari’a finance—specifically to supersede Western banks, markets and democracies through “parallel economic” and financial institutions. It rests on shari’a—the 7th Century Qur’anic legal code developed by Mohammed’s followers—which clerics consider one, indivisible package, by definition seeking global Islamic supremacy and law. With wife-beating, stoning women, dismembering thieves, hanging homosexuals, supremacist ideology and an annual head tax (jizya) on non-Muslim subjects—shari’a also commands Muslims to fund jihad (financial jihad—al Jihad bi-al-Mal). As in Qur’an 61:10-11, “strive for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives...” and Qur’an 49:15. “Financial Jihad [is]…more important...than self-sacrificing,” says Saudi cleric and Muslim Brother Hamud bin Uqla al-Shuaibi. The 1982 Muslim Brotherhood document, “Towards a Worldwide Strategy for Islamic Policy”—discovered by Swiss police in November 2001 and known as the Project—maps al-Banna’s plan. His successors, and author MB spiritual leader Yusuf Qaradawi, Swiss authorities say, order Muslims to engage “economic institutions adequate to support the cause financially” in directives covering roughly 14 pages, headlined “departure points.” Elsewhere, Qaradawi decrees, “holy war…is an Islamic duty... [F]ighting…is the Way of Allah for which zakat must be spent.” His 1999 “Fiqh az-Zakat” describes the “most deserving” zakat and jihad, “...to rebuild Islamic society and state and to implement the Islamic way of life in the political, cultural and economic domains.” Itself now partly owned by bin Talal, the Wall Street Journal in November 2007 ironically noted the tragedy that bad management and “blundering U.S. monetary policy” had again left Citigroup prey to Arab sheiks. Citi got its cash transfusion by granting “only” a 4.9% “minority stake”—and no board seats—magically for 0.1% under the 5% necessitating U.S. Federal Reserve Board approval. The Fed should intervene anyway—given the avid and ongoing, apparent UAE observance of zakat and jihad directives from Muslim Brotherhood leaders like Qaradawi: - The UAE banks wired most of the funds for the 9/11 attacks.
- In 2006, UAE donated $100 million to house Palestinian Authority prisoners and suicide bombers’ families, named for the late father of the current UAE president, who over 30 years donated millions to PLO, Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror.
- Hamas in July 2005, thanked Al-Nahayan’s “sisterly UAE” for its “limitless [financial] support...,” and “aid for our Mujahid,” in other words, Hamas jihadist “charitable societies.”
- The Palestinian Authority in May 2005 itemized millions of additional UAE U.S.-dollar aid, including $3 million paid directly to the Al Aqsa Intifada Fund.
- UAE president Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahayan’s late, terror-financier father also “owned the infamous [global] Bank of Commerce and Credit International” (BCCI)—which bilked depositors of billions before being shuttered in 1991; funded terrorist groups, states and projects like Hezbollah, al Qaeda, Syria, Iran and Pakistani nuclear bomb manufacturing; and was created “to help the world of Islam, and [as] the best way to fight the evil influence of the Zionists,” as noted by Rachel Ehrenfeld in Evil Money (Harper Collins, 1992, pp. 160, 164-5, 169-70).
- In October 2007, Dubai violated World Trade Organization (WTO) rules—banning the Israelis from the Federation of International Freight Forwarders and Customs Clearing Agents world congress. Dubai Ports World and its government holding company prohibit trade with Israel.
- In 2003, the UAE established a federal agency specifically to collect zakat on government tax revenues from “companies listed on the Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Market... oil-producing companies and branches of foreign banks,” obviously including U.S. oil companies and banks. This year alone, the UAE zakat tax agency collected an estimated $13.5 billion.
